In the Lake

Most of our days were spent in the lake.  The temps were in the 90's plus humidity.  Perfect lake weather!  None of the other adults wanted to go in, so I got to be the official lake supervisor.  I couldn't have picked a better job.  I love to be in the lake just as much as the kids do.  It was such fun watching them swim and splash and grow more confident in the water.  Emma and Ryan were the big fish.  They jumped off the dock time after time.  Evie even joined in by the end of our trip thanks to those trusty water wings.  Kendall refused to go under so just bobbed around.  Jillian did the same, but she was brave enough to get her face wet.

When Kendall wasn't in the water she was busy dumping water.

Party of 7.  So crazy trying to keep track of all of them, and this doesn't include the 2 babies!

The blue fish was much better than orange fish.

Emma Sue.  She would live in the lake if she could!

So would this kid.  And he definitely won't drowned with all those flotation devices!
