Happy Halloween!

These little pumpkins are so excited for Halloween!  Especially Ryan, who marked up my calendar by writing Halloween all over today.  He's also crossed out all the days leading up to The Big Day!

I'm excited about the day, too.  Instead of going to work, I get to go to a Spider and Pumpkin Party in Ryan's room at school.  I'm really looking forward to spending the morning with him!

The kids made it easy on me for costumes this year.  It was starting to sound difficult when Ryan wanted to be an Orca and Kendall a Sea Otter.  I could not find costumes (that didn't cost a small fortune) for either of them.  When I brought the Halloween stuff down from the attic I discovered our old costumes, which I'd forgotten about.

When Ryan spotted his turtle he wanted to be that again, and Kendall decided to be the Daisy, Miss Hanni's chicken!  PERFECT!  Natalie had three options.  We thought she looked cutest as the elephant.

It's a monkey in an elephant costume!

Turtle Ryan

Cock-a-doodle DOOOO.  Coincidentally, Miss Hanni's chicken Daisy turned out to be a rooster!

Welcome, Aubrey Christine

Uncle Michael and Aunt Jenn welcomed Aubrey Christine on October 20th.

She is one little bundle of sweetness!  We can't wait to meet her.  In the meantime we've been enjoying talking to her via Skype.

Congratulations Michael and Jenn!

Blue 42

This is by far the favorite activity that takes place in our house.  All 3 of the kids absolutely LOVE to play "Blue 42" with their Daddy.

Don't you love all the giggles?

The Duo

These two are quite a pair!  They love each other so much, but also fight like siblings do.  I adore watching their relationship evolve.

Winter 2012 Photo Shoot

We had our Christmas pictures taken this week with Seattle Flashing Lights.  We loved how they turned out this summer so decided to give them a try again.  We were completely blown away with what Stephanie captured.  See for yourself!

It was pretty easy to pick our favorites, but we really do love all of them.

I think this will always be my all-time favorite!

Kendall's New Bike

Kendall got an awesome new PINK bike for her birthday from Grandma Karen and Grandpa Bill.  She was thrilled to have her own bike, and be able to ride with her brother.  It didn't take her long to get pedaling on her own.  She is so proud of herself, and we are so proud of her!

Watch her go!

Note:  The video isn't great (Natalie tried to escape while I was shooting it), and yes I was being a horrible mother by not making her wear her helmet.

Miss K pouting because she can't pedal up the hill back home.  What a face!
