Aunt Mel took the girls to the Hello Kitty exhibit at the EMP today.  They love their Auntie Days!

A New Hair Do

Ryan has decided that using hair gel is fun.  :)

He decided to start styling his hair a new way.

Pig Tail Tutorial

We've been trying to get Dad to do a pig tail tutorial for months.  When he's the only one home to send the girl's off to school 3 days a week, he kind of needs to know this stuff!  He finally succumbed, and did a pretty good job.  Kendall was super patient with him as he learned.

Good Morning Sunshine

Our last morning at the beach was beautiful.  The sun was shining, and there was no wind so I had to take advantage of the awesomeness and walk the beach.  Ryan joined me a bit later and we enjoyed a lovely walk together.  The sand pipers were so much fun to watch.

Crazy Winds

There was some nasty weather at the beach.  The strong winds and rain made our time at the beach short-lived.  Natalie was having nothing with the bad weather this time.  Tears combined with blowing sand make one pathetic face!  Poor girl.

Clamming at the Beach

After geocaching we hit the clam tides.  We drove up to the "sand dollar beach" but the waves were pounding way too hard to find any full sand dollars this year.  It was so crazy windy, too, but we made the most of it!

Geocaching Fun

We HAD to get out of the beach house, so we decided to do some geocaching.  We hit a few of the same spots we went to this summer, only this time it was super windy and rainy!

It was really fun.  Ryan enjoyed it most of all, and could have kept on going all day.  The girls enjoyed it, too, but the fun wore off pretty quickly with them.

Mid Winter Break Beach Trip

After a couple days on our own we met up with the kids and Grandpa Bill at the beach house.

The weather was pretty nasty so the kids spent a lot of time entertaining themselves in the iPad photo center.  Listening to them giggle about their crazy pictures is the best!

We did venture out into the rain and winds, but ended up spending most of our day inside.  My favorite moment was when all 5 of us snuggled in bed this morning.  We missed the kids and enjoyed having everyone back together again - plus morning snuggles are the best!

Road Trip With Auntie Mel

For mid winter break, Grandma and Grandpa took Kendall for a few days of one on one time then Auntie Mel volunteered to drive Ryan and Natalie down to join them.

Family Day at Dance Class

Kendall's dance classes are closed for viewing, so I was excited for family day when we actually get to see them in action. 

I love to watch her dance.  She is an excellent student.  She pays attention and follows directions so well.  I am so proud of her!

Natalie came along and enjoyed watching as well.  She video taped the dance I got to do with Kendall, but she forgot to hit record.  Bummer.  :)

Table Sitter

Just a random picture I found on my phone that one of the kids must have taken. 

This girl has been sitting on the table quite frequently lately.  Not sure what that is all about.  Always has to be in the middle of the action, I suppose.

Play Doh Snow Scene

These two...

They had so much fun playing together when the other kids were at school!  They made snowmen out of play doh today. 

Making Snow

Kendall's kindergarten class made snow!  She was so excited about it and insisted we try it at home. 

The recipe to make snow is as follows: shaving cream + baking soda = fun!
