Foiled Plans

This sick kid foiled our plans to spend Memorial Day weekend at the beach.  We stayed home instead and worked in the yard while Natalie recovered.  She's still not 100% but she's on the up swing.

Win / Win

If I remember to bring coloring books and  markers to baseball then I get to watch the game.  If I forget I have to keep close tabs on Natalie who likes to roam with the big girls.  I love when I remember.  She is so content when she can color.

More Potty Time

Here we go again...more quality time in the port-a-potty.

Five on Six

On Mother's Day we went out for our first family bike ride.  It was such a beautiful day for a ride!  We were all so happy to be back up on our wheels again.

In Full Swing

Ryan's baseball season is in full swing.  We have two games a week and are loving every minute of it.  It's a great group of kids, who are all good ball players.  It's really fun to watch them play as a team and have so much fun together.  We will all be so sad when it's over.

School's In Session

While my parents were here Ryan took over and became Teacher Ryan. He was in his glory bossing around the girls and Grandma Sue in their little school. They were all really good sports and did exactly what he told them to do....kind of.

Not Quite

I think this dress will have to wait a year before it makes another appearance.  It just doesn't fit quite yet.

Frog Watching

A huge frog jumped out at me the other night when I was watering the garden.  He was the largest frog I've ever seen.  I called the kids over to take a peek, and they sat and watched him for almost 30 minutes.  It was fascinating.

The Neverland Pirates

Arrrgh!  These kids and their crazy imaginations.  They are the cutest pirates I've ever seen.

Bounce

My sister Jen and her family gifted us this trampoline for Christmas.  Totally awesome gift!

To say that the kids love it is an understatement.  Of course, it's not just a hit at our house.  It's hit with all the neighbor kids, too, which can be tricky at times.  We're learning to navigate privacy issues and be conscious of liability issues as well.  But overall, it's a great addition to our back yard.

I love that our trio has the most fun together.  The giggles coming from them while I make dinner is completely priceless.

Happy Mother's Day!

I feel so incredibly blessed that I get to call this awesome lady Mom, and that these three cinnamon roll loving kids call me Mom.  I am one lucky girl.

Princess Potty Talk

The top 3 reasons I was completely thrilled to receive this photo from David last week:

1.  Blackmail for when Kendall is 18.
2.  I was so happy David was able to experience the fantastic port-a-potty experience at Ryan's baseball practice.  I have had this experience more than my share.
3.  I knew I had the perfect caption for this great shot.  We do, after all, call Kendall "Princess Potty Talk" at our house on a daily basis.

Even if the girls use the bathroom before we leave for Ryan's practice and games, the moment they spot the port-a-potty at the field they HAVE to go again.  It makes me crazy!  I have spent more time in these tight quarters than anyone should in their lifetime.  Gross.  It makes me want to use hand sanitizer just writing about it.

Don't Touch Me

And so it begins...Kendall was so not thrilled, as you can tell, to sit by her sister for this photo op.  But I couldn't resist.  They are so adorable in piggies.

Welcome Back Mr. Sun

It was a nudey otter pop kind of day today.
