Jen and the kids flew in on Wednesday and we were all so excited to get to the beach this morning. The kids just played and played and played. The weather was perfect, and the warm sun felt so good.
My friend Rebecca, from Sammamish Rotary, came across this amazing blueberry farm that was going to go unharvested. She put together a work party, and we were able to pick a hundred pounds of blueberries for the food bankds in less than two hours! It was such a great way to spend a morning. I'm looking forward to going back next month to do it again.
We ventured over to our old stomping grounds today for Natalie's 5 year check up. We had a little time to kill before her appointment so we stopped in at one of our old favorite parks near our old house. Ryan and Kendall remembered it, but Natalie did not. They were all happy to be there and play their hearts out!
Our next adventure with the Baumanns was Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. The kids had fun exploring! I think the favorite was the jaguar cubs - so cute!
I think they all found Dory! And I know they are all excited to see the movie soon.
We were beyond excited to have the Baumann Cousins visit us! The kids hadn't been to Seattle area before, so it was fun to show them where we lived.
All the kids had fun playing and we went on a few adventures. Our first adventure was to Northwest Trek where we saw lots of animals, went on a tram ride and played in the awesome new play area. It was a fun day!
