The 24 Hour Trip

Our trip home was quite the adventure!  It definitely was a beautiful day for a drive.  What we didn't anticipate was that it would actually be an entire day of driving.



Our goal to was to make it to Butte, MT and stay the night there.  And we did make it to Butte, but there were no hotel rooms available.  Nor were there hotel rooms in Missoula,
Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Spokane or Moses Lake.  So our 12 hour trip turned into a 24 hour trip straight home. 

It was awful, but we did it.  David was amazing and the kids did great, minus a bit of whining from Ryan (his legs hurt from not using them all day).  It is not something we will do again, but it was nice to have the entire day on Sunday to rest and get ready for the week.
