Minnesota Love

They can hardly contain their excitement.
One of the bad things about living far, far away from my family is that we have to miss out on family holiday gatherings way too often.  Last weekend the Baumann clan got together at our Tulaby Lake cabin to celebrate Christmas.  In my opinion, there is no better place to celebrate.  It's an amazing, cozy cabin filled to the brim with family - siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and my awesome parents.  My mind floods back to Christmases spent sledding, ice skating and cross country skiing.  There is always amazing food and company.  And I hate missing out.  And I hate that my kids have to miss out.

One of the good things about living far away is that packages arrive on our doorstep during the holidays filled with love from Minnesota.  Last weekend 2 big packages arrived.  The kids were so excited, and since the Baumann clan was digging in at the cabin we decided to do the same.

Our boxes were filled with shirts, ornaments, books, games and many more memories from Minnesota.

Ryan with his very special Memory book made by Grandma Sue.

Take that Mariners!

Oh boy, it's George!
