Zoo Day

The girls school holds a Zoo Day every year, so I took the day off to attend.  Kendall's friend Karah tagged along as well since her mom had a previous engagement.

It really was a fun day.  The girls were so excited to run into their classmates, and became obsessed with finding the boys!  I can only imagine what life will be like in 10 years.  Oy!

This was my deprived third child's first trip to the zoo, so she was extremely excited about the adventure.  She overwhelmed herself with so much excitement that she couldn't get out of the stroller the for the first 30 minutes.

All of the Mountainside kids made their own t-shirt to wear for the big day.  Cutest shirts ever!  The received many comments from the other zoo guests.

We met up with friends and walked the zoo in the morning, then met up with the entire school contingent for carousel rides and lunch, then explored the rest of the zoo after lunch.

The animals were definitely putting on a show for us.  The orangutans were being crazy, the bear woke up from a nap and found spot right in front of us, and the lion peed on the window right in front of Kendall and Karah!  They are still talking about that!
