It was just us and my parents on Christmas Eve. It was really lovely to have the cabin and my parents to ourselves...the calm before the storm!
Ben and his kids stopped by, we made lefse, went sledding, played cards, went to church and got ready for Santa. It was a really wonderful day.
Church was really special. The kids did great, Mass was geared towards children and we got to see so many familiar faces. Ryan went right up to the front when Father asked for the children's help with his homily. We were shocked. Trisha and Ben sat behind us so we got to hear Zac sing, too. It was the most adorable thing!
