It's always quite a crew when we get together with friends for dinner. This time we did it right - we let the kids eat, then the adults took over the table and were actually able to have a conversation!

Mariners Vs. Phillies
To wrap up our incredibly busy day, we enjoyed an evening of baseball.
We brought a few extra things along to keep the girls occupied this time. I really do feel like I all but pack up the house for these baseball games - snacks, activities, toys, blankets, extra layers, and now scooters and helmets.
If the girls are occupied, things go much smoother. We're getting a good system down.
The boys, as always, were so excited to play. And they ended up holding on for a 4-2 victory at the end. It totally made me nervous! I had to keep reminding myself it's just Little League!
Our little catcher man. It's so fun to watch Ryan and his friend Eli play "catch" during the games. They are doing so great!
It's also fun to watch the girls interacting with their new friends.
Here are the little boys "sneaking up" on the girls. So funny!
A big game of UNO was going on as well!

A Fine Seattle Day
I snapped this photo while sitting at a stop light today. Another gorgeous day in Seattle.
I took it on my way back to the office after volunteering at a homeless shelter with my Rotary Club. A humbling experience to say the least. I constantly find myself thinking about the ladies and children I had lunch with, and wishing I could do more for them.

Mountainside Easter Parade
The girls had their first ever Easter hat parade at their school today.
Each child designed / decorated their own hat then showed it off to all the adoring parents. They were asked to tell the parents their names as well, which proved difficult for most - including Kendall and Natalie - but it was so cute!
Natalie did this crazy back bend thing as she was being so incredibly shy, then broke into tears. I felt sad for her, but it was also very cute.
Kendall was also super shy, but did tell us her name before she darted off the stage. She was much more content hanging out with her friends afterwards (note the super awesome photo bomb by Carson!).
After the parade the kids got to do an egg hunt outside. They LOVED this, of course.
Their hats and baskets are so awesome, and the girls loved their special fun day. I am so amazed the teachers at their school take the extra time to make these special events happen.

Pitching Practice
Ryan has baseball on the brain at all times. These days, he's been practicing his pitching at the bus stop - using pebbles, of course.

Private Lesson
This lucky gal had the pool and teacher all to herself at lessons today. She loved every minute of it!
