Another update from David:
Poor Natalie couldn't find her AM-inals at bed time.
Yeah, right. I can totally see her whale in the picture. Talk about milking it, which she has totally become a pro at these last few weeks. So much so that it has prompted us to cut our her naps.

Happy Flowers
David took the kids to the beach this weekend to spend time with his parents and give me some alone time. He's the best! He's been texting me updates like this one:

Lice Lice Baby
My worst nightmare, besides the obvious (you know) has come true.
Our house has lice. Not just one kid got it. All 3 of them got it. Thankfully, David and I did not. Although my head is itching as I type this.
All I have to say about it is that it totally creeps me out, has made me completely paranoid and I'm exhausted. But other than that, it's not bad at all. Ha! I'm trying not to over react by washing every possible thing in hot water, but I am. It makes me feel better. And I've quarantined everything in the guest room for at least a week - even though lice can't survive for more than 2 days without a human host.
The kids are being completely cooperative with their nightly head checks, which we are truly thankful for. Even Natalie has been a trooper, despite her screaming her head off through her entire treatment.
We initially thought Ryan picked it up at baseball camp by sharing his helmet but after reading every possible thing about the little buggers, we aren't so sure.
Regardless, we have it and it totally sucks but it's not the end of the world. It's just a lot of work.
The silver lining is our house an my car are super clean. I can handle that. And we finally got Natalie's hair in pig tails!

Jenn & Aubrey
Our sister in law Jenn and niece Aubrey were passing through last weekend so stopped in for dinner. It was brief, but the kids LOVED every minute of cousin time. It was so fun to see Aubrey live and in person and rocking her super fun personality!
The kids just adore her!

The Jets Are Back In Town
After a one year hiatus (due to Navy budget cuts) the Blue Angels returned to the Pacific Northwest skies this past weekend.
Ryan has been a huge fan for as long as I can remember (which isn't that long if you know my memory!), so this has been on the calendar since we heard they were coming back for Seafair this year.
We had our usual spot to watch them when we lived in Seattle, but now that we are on the other side of Lake Washington we needed a new spot. We didn't want to battle the traffic that comes with the closure of I-90.
A friend tipped me off to a small landing on Mercer Island, so the girls and I did a reconnaissance mission on Thursday to see if it would work for Saturday's show. The Blue Angels were doing their first practice so I enjoyed the show while the girls swam their little hearts out. Other than being on a boat, the spot was perfect for watching the Air Show.
So on Saturday, we gathered up Team Boehm, added our good friends and headed back. There were a TON of people, but we still had a great time. We definitely learned that having rafts to float on the lake while we watch is the way to go. We can't wait until next year!
Pictures from our reconnaissance mission:
And some fun videos. I am always so impressed with the Blue Angels. They are so amazing to watch.

Friends Week
We had the best week.
Ryan got to go baseball camp with his buddies, Eli and Camden. Six hours of baseball for 5 straight days = his dream come true. He loved every minute of it.
The girls got to hang out with their friend Temri for 3 days, too. The two days I was off work, the four of us ventured to the lake to swim and play the morning away. I loved it, and they loved it.
Then, I got to hang out with my friends when they stopped in to pick up kids or drop kids off. So fun!
It was a busy, but fun week.
