Tough Girl, Lucky Boys

Natalie threw up first thing this morning, which completely put a wrench in our plans.  For one, I was supposed to go to the Seahawks game with Bill, Ryan and David.  Second, Bill was going to take all 3 down to his house for a few days after the game.  Neither of those things could happen with a sick kid.  Thankfully, we're pretty good at improvising!  We searched around for someone to take my ticket to the game, and Ryan's friend Eli got to be the lucky recipient.  And I got to stay home with the girls, which is just fine with me.  We always find things to keep us busy.

The biggest bummer was David and I not getting a few days of along time like we were anticipating.  But having just one kid around is a breeze compared to the norm, and it's fun to focus on that one child.

We also missed the neighborhood holiday party, which was also a bummer but we didn't want to expose anyone to flu germs right before Christmas.

For the record, Natalie never threw up again and had her normal energy levels by the end of the day.  Funny how just one thing can change plans.
