The Boehm Family Tree 2012

Our search for the perfect Christmas tree turned out to be quite the adventure this year.  Thankfully, we had Grandma Sue and Grandpa Ken along to keep David from strangling me for getting bad directions!

It really was a beautiful drive, even if it was a little longer than we anticipated.

David insisted on cutting down our tree.  Last year we got our tree from a tree lot blocks from our house (very convenient), but it turned brown before Christmas.  Plus, the adventure finding our perfect tree is always memorable.

David always goes to the farthest corner of the tree farm as if there aren't any decent ones nearby.  It is fun to walk through the farm, but all the trees start to look the same to me after awhile.

Ryan picked out our tree this year, and he picked a winner.  We think it's our best tree yet!  I think having Grandma Sue and Grandpa Ken along to help made it even more special.

I picked up this awesome book from the library a few weeks ago.  It brings a smile to my face each time I read it to the kids.  It definitely reminds me of our tree hunting adventures and why they are so special.
