Dr. Kendall To The Rescue

Grandpa Ken cut his finger, and Dr. Kendall came to the rescue with a bandaid and a mask to complete the look!

Apparently, she did a project using the mask at school today.  She took us all by surprise when she came around the corner with it on.  Ha!

With baseball and softball in full swing, it was a busy month.

We love watching this girl play!

Baseball at Dodd Field

We've spent so many hours at Dodd Field over the past 4 years.  We all love this place so much, and I'm already getting emotional that this will be our last year here playing Little League.  It's the perfect place to watch my boy play baseball.

The girls love this place too!

Wenatchee Opener

Kicking off the season in Wenatchee!  Ryan's sporting knickers for the first time, and it's going to take me awhile to get used to it.

This boy loves baseball so much, and it's so fun watching him do what he loves.

I love these pictures from Carmon.

Grand Slam

Ryan hit a GRAND SLAM during his game tonight!  So exciting!

We went out to celebrate and ended up following this fire truck, which just happened to be sporting a #16, which is Ryan's number.  We all thought it was an omen.  :)

First Softball Season

Kendall decided she wanted to play softball this season after going back and forth for a long time.  The first game was long and excruciatingly slow (compared to the baseball we're used to watching).  Plus, the umpire was calling strikes even if the ball didn't make it over the plate - WHAT?  I was so confused!  I thought it was a softball rule I wasn't aware of.  Apparently, we just got a bad ump!  Ha!

I really thought Kendall was going to get in the car after the game and start crying because she hated it so much, but much to my surprise she absolutely loved it!  Yay!  It's really fun to watch her come out of her shell.  She loves her teammates so much, and they've been so welcoming to her.  It's going to be a fun season.  We're super thankful she got an awesome coach, too.

He doesn't love being the spectator.  Too bad.
