More Beach Fun

We were spoiled with sunshine and no wind at the beach which means loads of fun.  Teenager Jack, who had no opinon on anything all weekend, finally made a decision to stay at the beach all day on our final day.  He was hoping pizza could be delivered to us at the beach for lunch.  Ha!  We decided to roast hot dogs over a fire instead.  It was perfect.  We loved watching the kids have so much fun together, and there is no better place for them to play all day long.

These kids had so much fun!

Oh, this girl so beatuiful and is endless entertainment!

Science at the Beach

On Jen's morning run she came across this sad sight - a porpoise (we think).  It was a fantastic science lesson..

Kendall was so curious, and Natalie wanted nothing to do with it but did eventually touch it.

Baseball Buddies

Ryan got to tag along to the M's game with his good buddy Eli.

I adore these pictures Ana sent.  We are so thankful Ryan has such a good friend.

Day 5: North Yellowstone

I thought we'd seen it all as we made our way north.  Boy, was I wrong!  Every turn gave us a new spectacular view, and elk sightings.  Just incredible!

Look at all those elk!

As we made our way through the Mammoth Hot Springs loop, we spotted what we thought was a statue on the top of the cliff.

It was not!  Saying it was picturesque is a huge understatment!

We stopped in Mammoth to get a few snacks and our last chance at souveniers (which was huge for the kids and something we will navigate better on our next trip ).  As we parked we spotted this duo steps away.  So, so cool!  We later learned Mammoth is the local elk hang out.

A fantastic way to end our trip!
