A Beach Rainbow

We'd never seen a rainbow at the beach before.  How lucky we were to witness this beauty!

Beachy Beads

Kendall has such fun ideas.  She decided she was going to make a "beach" with the jewelry beads.

Here is her masterpiece:

She carefully place each fish, flower, shell and grain of sand.  Love it!

Reading Time

The early bird boys got up each morning and read and read and read.  It was really fun to see them get into it, and they were so proud when they made it to 200 pages!  The rest of the time they were out playing baseball.

Who Needs Boots

Nobody!

It was a beautiful night for a walk to the beach for kite flying, wave chasing and a game of fliers.

The Eagle Has Landed

After lunch we ventured back down to the beach to enjoy the beautiful day.  The kids enjoyed exploring their old "house" and playing in the sand.  It was a great way to kill time while they impatiently waited for their friends to arrive!

We got quite a show from a bald eagle.

The scenery was once again spectacular!

And then our friends finally arrived!

This girl always seems to be the life of the party!  Her shirt describes her perfectly.

Puddle Jumper

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Natalie just runs wild on the beach, finding as many puddles as she can.

Then comes back cold, wet and sandy - but so happy!

Another Clamming Tide

How lucky we were to get another BEAUTIFUL morning at the beach, and another clamming tide!
