Morning Hike

I met my friend Amy last weekend for a hike up Poo Poo Point.  It was a gorgeous morning, and so good to see Amy!  The view from the top is well worth the sore calves and bum I have for days afterward!

Hello, Mount Rainier!

If you look closely you can see Mount Baker way off to the right.
One of these times I'll have to bring my good camera up with me so I can get some better photos.

Game Night

One of our favorite night's of the week is Game Night!  As you can see, David has the most fun!

Swimming Spectators

This was one of those days where these girls could not get along at home, but they were the best of friends at swim lessons.  It made me smile to see them sitting so nicely reading books TOGETHER while Ryan was at his lesson.  I love these moments!

Maybe it was the lollipops that made them so sweet?

Slipper Socks

Kendall raided my sock drawer and found my super snuggly slipper socks, the ones that coordinated with her outfit, of course!  Natalie was feeling left out so decided to raid Grandma Sue's slipper sock stash (she leaves a few things in the guest room for when she visits).  Reminders of my mom always make me smile, not to mention these cute girls and their silly ideas!

A Sure Sign

This is a sure sign it's baseball season at our house!

Ryan is on 3 teams this year.  He was invited to be on the third team, and we just couldn't say no.  It's a new team they are trying to get started that will feed into the high school program he will play in - if he still wants to play baseball at that point.  It involves great coaches and teammates so hard to say no.  Our weeks will be full of baseball for the next few months (and a bit this summer), so it's a good things we all enjoy it!

In addition to the select team he started practicing for in January, he got his Little League team assignment last week.  He's on the Mariners team (yay!) and he got #3 (double yay!) AND he's on the same team with his good friend Eli (triple yay!).  This will be the top priority team with 3 practices or games each week, and the two other teams will have either one game or one practice on the weekends.  Hopefully we can keep it all straight, and not show up to a game with the wrong uniform!

Kendall's First Lost Tooth

Kendall lost her first tooth!

She woke up super early (she just happened to be in bed with me - no surprise there!), sat up and pulled it out.  She was dreaming that she was sucking on a sucker!  OMG!  She is so cute!

She was so proud of herself.

David asked her at dinner that night what she was going to do with the money the tooth fairy left her.  Her response was, "I'm going to buy a new tooth!".

Spring in Seattle

It's definitely spring in Seattle.  I've been enjoying my work day walks through the city soaking up the sites and the sunshine!
