Ice Skating Adventure
We had so much fun on our ice skating adventure with Shari and Donald. David's, not an ice skater so was the photographer instead.
We hadn't been skating since last year, so it took us all awhile to get acclimated to the ice again. After a few laps we were up and rolling. Natalie's indepence on the ice surprised us. She wanted to go around by herself, and so she did. It was really fun to watch all 3 kids (and Shari and Donald) gain confidence with every lap!

Conference Week
With conferences mid-week, I had to take a day off work. The kids and I hung out with friends, and visited the zoo. It was chilly, but fun to get out and see what the animals were up to. I particularly liked the South Seas fish exhibit. It was so warm and tropical.

Celebrating A Friend
Our friends took the kids for an overnight party in honor of Temri, then David and I met up with them all at the Seattle Children's Theater to watch The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. What a fun way to celebrate our friend!

Ornament Workshop
Kendall's Girl Scout troop tipped us off to an ornament workshop at one of the local Lowes. We all had a great time creating wood ornaments, and having lunch afterward.
Ryan's 1st Basketball Game
Ryan decided to give basketball a try this year, and we were all for it. We realized last winter that he needed something to keep him busy in between football and baseball, and this is a pretty easy commitment compared to the other two sports. He practices one day a week and has a game every Saturday. So far, he's loving it.
The first game was pretty rough. It was more like a game of hot potato, but the boys had fun! We look forward to watching them improve each week!
