I'm pretty sure any parent will tell you there is nothing better than hearing your child giggle. David got Kendall and Ryan giggling like crazy the other night. It was music to our ears!

UNO!
Ryan has been playing UNO as long as I can remember. He loves the game. Over the past couple weeks Kendall has taken up interest as well. We've been teaching her how to play, and she's getting pretty good at following the directions. It's really fun to watch the two of them play.

Stories From Home
Our schedule is something I call A Whole Lot of Crazy. When I'm home, David is at work and when I'm at work, David is at home with the kids. I thank God everyday I married such an amazing man. Caring for three demanding little kids on as little sleep as he gets is not easy. We seemed to be holding our own until I went back to work when Natalie was 3 months old. The last 6 months have been a roller coaster ride.
We have good days and bad days. I love the stories I get from David when he is at home. They are hilarious! Most of them involve poop. He really does have the worst luck with poop. At least once a week both girls have pooped multiple times, and Natalie blows out of her diaper daily. I swear. I'm not sure why this only happens to him. It's like they are out to get him.
And then there are sweet stories like this: "What does s-e-a-h-a-w-k-me-s spell?". Have you guessed? Well, when Kendall spells anything that has "K" in it, she lets you know that letter starts her name. So as she was naming off the letters on David's Seahawks shirt, she lets him know that the K was for her - ME! She also lets you know that "R" is for "Wyan" when she goes through the alphabet. So cute.
Then there is the infamous Candy Dispensor story. Ryan was adamant about getting David this automatic motion-sensored candy dispenser for Christmas. I couldn't say no because he was so excited about it. David was not impressed from day one. On David's birthday we filled it with one of his favorite candies, then a week later I get a call from work that goes like this:
David: "Do you want to know my mental state right now?"
Me: "Uh, oh, what happened?"
David: "Natalie was sleeping so I jumped in the shower. Ryan barges into the bathroom just as I'm getting out and is in a panic because the candy dispenser is uncontrollably shooting candy everywhere. Ryan tries to get it to stop, but knocks down a champagne flute and it shatters.
Me: I'm laughing because I'm picturing this all in my head.
David: "So, here I am naked trying to clean up glass and 1,000 pieces of candy all while Natalie is screaming because all the commotion woke her up."
Me: I'm now crying because I'm laughing so hard.
David: "I'm so glad you think it's so funny your husband has lost his mind".
I know I will never hear the end of the candy dispenser purchase.
And this is the text I got from him today:
Biggest blow out of all time. Poop everywhere, slug trails, on toys, even on Kendall - house in lockdown, might have to air drop supplies...whatever happens, I love you...pray for us!
I guess one benefit of putting a onesie on Natalie is that it contains the poop. I think that is a lesson learned for the day!
